Day 3

10. The thing that puzzles me in my book is how the gods resemble humans with their struggles and emotions. Even if they are a myth they should still be mighty like a god, guess that’s why they don’t deserve an uppercase g.

21. I choose to read this book because of its sense of humor and the fact that it reveals of the emotions of the Greek gods I then world of Percy Jackson, which is know for several sarcastic remarks.

24. I think the title for this book is appropriate, because it literally explains the life’s of the main Greek gods like Hera, Zeus, Posiden, and Hades.

Day “3”: Gaia and her children decide to kill the father, the youngest decides to kill the father and does so successfully, now he deems himself the king of the world, he also married Rhea (his sister), and made children with her, but when he killed his father he placed a curse on him, that involves one of his children dethroning him. The tone of this chapter was humorous because of how much the author is making fun of the gods acting stupid.

Day 2: Right now I’m reading Percy Jackson: Greek Gods, and it’s talking about Gaia and her boyfriend Ouraneous (same pronunciation as Uranus). So for now we are going to call him Uranus, so Uranus wasn’t being a good father and Gaia got feed up with and decide to kill him because he threw her babies to Tartarus, which is apparently a whole god, also the new “babies” were actually cyclops.
